Salesforce has been named by Forbes Magazine as the World’s Most Innovative Company. This is the fifth consecutive year that Salesforce has received this recognition. It comes on the heels of the company being chosen by Fortune as the World’s Most Admired Software Company for the third year in a row and being ranked 8th on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

(Forbes rank includes only industries that are known to invest in innovation; excluding industries that have no measurable investment in R&D, so banks don’t make the list.)

This year Forbes recognized Salesforce for its approach towards gender equality and its plans to start closing the gender pay gap. In April 2015, CEO Marc Benioff committed to eliminating the gender pay gap at Salesforce.

Forbes had interviewed Cindy Robbins, Executive Vice President of Employee Success, and Leyla Seka, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Desk.com, about how Salesforce is empowering everyone at the company to drive towards a fully inclusive, diverse culture.
