Since founded in early 2013, we at fullOpp have always taken the responsibility towards our community to contribute with educational efforts to university students (see our history below). Our intention is to offer students with a FREE opportunity to learn HANDS-ON how to use one of the most common tools in any organization: a CRM (or Customer Relationship Management) platform.

As a Salesforce.com Registered Partner, we are responsible for training Salesforce.com users across the tri-county area (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach). We offer bi-monthly training sessions at our offices in downtown Fort Lauderdale to teach the basics of how to use a Customer Relationship Management platform.

Our classes have a limit of 18 participants, and while the training has a registration fee for our customers, we do have times where our class is not full. To make full use of our classes and maximize our attendance (while meeting our responsibilities to the education community), we are now offering this opportunity for students to get familiar with this commonly used technology!

THE BENEFIT

By attending our trainings, students will be able gain a competitive advantage upon graduation in:

  • Learning the basics of how to use Salesforce.com, and being able to perform general duties within the system.

  • Increasing the value of their resumes, by demonstrating that they have basic proficiency with CRM platforms.

  • Increase their attractiveness to employers, as their skills would help lower training costs for organizations

  • Networking with our customers, making valuable connections that could potentially result in employment once they graduate

HISTORY

Since 2011 our founder has been committed to help local university students gain a competitive edge on the job market. Local universities partnered with Erick Mahle after his graduation so he could share his personal experiences as an international student about life after college, sharing his advice and lessons learned to help current students gain a competitive advantage on the job market.

One of the greatest talking points was the “digital divide”. Once Erick had graduated from Barry University in 2011, his first job interview posed him with his experience with online marketing tools and so on: all of which he had no idea or experience with. That’s when he noticed that although universities prepare students with the concepts of their study, the is a tremendous gap of understanding how everyday technologies apply these theories in today’s digital world.

Once the organization was founded, these values were carried over to fullOpp, and we have been committed in helping university students to gain a competitive edge on the job market.

Our main goal is to help bridge the “digital divide” that occurs between graduation and entering the job market, where many students are not aware of technologies used in offices every day. More about our dedication to Higher Education thus far (for later reference):
